Fluid & Structure: a couple that never breaks up

FEM - Fluid-Structure Interaction

Investigating dynamic movements of the masses/objects while interacting with surrounding or internally located fluid

The main purpose of this advanced engineering area is to investigate the dynamic movements of the masses/objects considering their interaction with surrounding or internally located fluid. MESH, continue to carry out studies on the following analysis applications categorized as follows;

Among the analysis applications that MESH provide to their customers some examples care cited here below;

  • Investigation of dynamic characteristics of masses/objects that vibrate elastic by fully or partially interacting with fluid
  • Investigation of characteristics of masses/objects make holistic dynamic movements by fully or partially interacting with fluid
  • Investigation of deformations on structures occurring due to fluid forces with fluid interaction
  • Investigation of effects on structures occurring due to underwater contactless explosion forces with fluid interaction

In MESH’s Advanced Engineering department, the problems of fluid-structure interaction are solved by using either Abaqus software or by using Abaqus and Fluent together interactively.
